At the beginning of the Connecting Cities: Urban Reflections events Public Art Lab and the SUPERMARKT invite international and Berlin-based experts from the fields of urban media art and urban planning to introduce their institutions and their work.

A full programme with workshops, symposium, performances, a ‚Stadt Pic Nic‘ and Lightparcous in the framework of Kulturfestival Wedding-Moabit will take place from 11-14. September.

During the day there’ll be workshops and a symposium with key note lectures by Mark Shepard, Paul Sermon, Moritz Behrens and many more.
On Friday and Saturday evening the projects ‚Occupy the Screen‘ and ‚Urban Alphabets‘ will connect Supermarkt with Stattbad Wedding and Riga - European Capital of Culture through artistic scenarios.

From 11 – 13 September a rich programme with workshops from Suse Miessner, Charlotte Gould & Paul Sermon, Moritz Behrens & Nina Valkanova, Dr. Alexander Wiethoff & Marius Hoggenmüller as well as keynotes from Mark Shepard, Paul Sermon, Moritz Behrens and the speakers Nicole Srock-Stanley, Dr. Alexander Wiethoff, Eva Hornecker, Dr. Bastian Lange, B_tours and many more will be offered…

Connecting Cities: Urban Reflections – Light Parcours 
During ‚Connecting Cities: Urban Reflections‘ Public Art Lab will transform the windows in the Brunnenstraße into interactive light and projection windows. Connecting Cities will make the neighborhood shine! The Connecting Cities projects Occupy the Screen, Smart Citizen Sentiment Dashboard, Urban Alphabets, Human Beeing will be shown, as well as works from Lichtpiraten, a cooperation project of Public Art Lab and Quartiersmanagement Brunnenstraße, the students of Leuphana University Lüneburg and the Bauhaus -Universität Weimar and a video programme by Screen City and Videospread.
