Hello Liebig12 followers :)
wonderful musician and performer Marie Takahashi is pleased to meet you at
Liebig12 these days :)

During the residency at Liebig12 Marie will work on her graphic
compositions, improvisations and interpretations including repertoires from
baroque to contemporary / experimental music approaching site specific
dynamics.
All friends, colleagues, composers, musicians are warmly invited to her
Open Studio to discuss with Marie, try out new techniques, have open
rehearsals and recording sessions.

::short bio
Marie plays with viola, baroque viola, composition, improvisation
After her studies and career as a classical musician in Japan, France and
in Germany (Musikhochschule Mannheim and Frankfurt/Main) she moved to
Berlin where she started more original and creative activities such as
improvisations, compositions and collaborations with artists from various
disciplines.
She has worked with many international musicians including Tristan
Honsinger, Axel Dörner, Cedrik Fermont, Michel Doneda, Sylvia Hinz,
Burkhard Beins, Toshimaru Nakamura.
Her experimental compositions using calligraphy techniques, shapes and
numbers have been presented in Europe and in Japan.

*Fitzkarraldo *(Riccardo Scaramagli bass, Emanuele Calì guitar, James
Anderson drums) // Berlin-based noise rock/post-punk trio
Two multi-instrumentalists join forces in Berlin, both with a desire to
create noise rock influenced by Lightning Bolt and Don Vito, with streaks
of avant-garde, free jazz and post-punk. Hence the birth of Fitzkarraldo,
and the marriage of James' insectile guitar riffs and Emanuele's thundering
drums. In early 2018, Riccardo Scaramagli joined the band on bass. Their
debut album (as a duo) comes out in March 2019 via Edwood Records. The band
went on a European tour between 2018 and 2019 (IT, DE, GR).
They are recording their new album (in trio) in 2022.

*Franzoni Mother’s Party* (Manlio Maresca guitar/electronics, Ivan Liuzzo
drums)
*Ivan Liuzzo *is a percussionist and composer, he is active in contemporary
music, in particular as an perfomer of electroacoustic music, in impromptu
music and in contemporary jazz.
He currently works with: Achille Succi (Pita trio); Manlio Maresca (Manual
for errors; Franzoni Mother’s Party);
He is a founding member of the PHTHORA ‘and AVIDI LUMI collectives.
