this year I will be organising and presenting the event series Forests of antennas, oceans of waves <http://antennenozeane.de/en/temp-landingpage-english-2/>, which inquires effects of new media and communication technologies on urban space(s), our bodies and society. From May till October we will be out on the streets of Berlin with 7 artistic interventions, at the Museum für Kommunikation with a conference program and a sound performance, as well as at the gallery and project space Liebig12 with an exhibition.
The series is funded by the Hauptstadtkulturfonds and realised in cooperation with the HU Berlin and the University of Potsdam. For more information on the project curated by Shintaro Miyazaki (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), Birgit Schneider (University of Potsdam) & yours truly, see below.

Forests of antennas, oceans of waves is a series of events taking place in Berlin from May to October 2022, consisting of seven artistic interventions in urban space by artists and researchers including bureau d'études, Kate Donovan, Solarpunks, Sarah Grant & Danja Vasiliev, Nicholas Nova, Selena Savic and Teresa Dillon, a conference and sound performance in cooperation with the Museum für Kommunikation Berlin and a final exhibition and sound performance in the project space Liebig12 with the artists Susanna Hertrich and Marta Zapparoli.
The thematic starting point of the project is the artistic and theoretical examination of phenomena of electromagnetic waves, motivated by discussions around the new mobile phone generation "5G", which is in the testing or expansion phase in Berlin and other German and international cities and is thus also discussed in the context of "smart city" technologies and initiatives. 
Imperceptible changes brought about by the various generations of mobile communications and subsequent "smart city" technologies will be tangible and discussable in artistic terms: Physical, social, legal, (urban) political, biological and ecological aspects of the "Hertzian" space will be illuminated in workshops, interactive walks, lecture-performances, sound-performances, installative presentations as well as discussion formats.

in den kommenden Monaten findet die von mir mit konzipierte und organisierte Veranstaltungsreihe Von Antennenwäldern und Wellenozeanen <http://www.antennenozeane.de/> statt, die die Auswirkungen neuer Medien- und Kommunikationstechnologien auf unseren Stadtraum, unsere Körper und unsere Gesellschaft kritisch hinterfragt und künstlerisch beleuchtet. Von Mai bis Oktober werden wir mit 7 Interventionen in den Straßen Berlins unterwegs sein, mit einem Konferenzprogramm und einer Klangperformance im Museum für Kommunikation und mit einer Ausstellung im Galerie- und Projektraum Liebig12 zu finden sein.

Von Antennenwäldern und Wellenozeanen ist eine von Mai bis Oktober 2022 in Berlin stattfindende Veranstaltungsreihe, bestehend aus einer Serie von künstlerischen Interventionen im Stadtraum von u.a. den Künstler*innen und Forscher*innen bureau d'études, Kate Donovan, Solarpunks, Sarah Grant & Danja Vasiliev, Nicholas Nova, Selena Savic und Teresa Dillon, einer Konferenz und Klang-Performance in Kooperation mit dem Museum für Kommunikation Berlin sowie einer Abschluss-Ausstellung und Klang-Performance im Projektraum Liebig12 mit den Künstlerinnen Susanna Hertrich und Marta Zapparoli.
Thematischer Ausgangspunkt des Projekts ist die künstlerische und theoretische Auseinandersetzung mit Phänomenen elektromagnetischer Wellen, motiviert durch Diskussionen rund um die neue Mobilfunkgeneration „5G”, die sich in Berlin und anderen deutschen wie internationalen Städten in der Test- oder Ausbauphase befindet und damit auch im Kontext von “Smart City” Technologien und Initiativen diskutiert wird. 
Nicht wahrnehmbare Veränderungen durch die verschiedenen Generationen des Mobilfunks und daran anschließende „Smart City”-Technologien werden hier künstlerisch erfahrbar und diskutierbar: In Workshops, interaktiven Spaziergängen, Lecture-Performances, Klang-Performances, installativen Präsentationen sowie Gesprächsformaten werden physikalische, gesellschaftliche, rechtliche, (stadt-)politische, biologische und ökologische Aspekte des “Hertzianischen” Raums beleuchtet.
