The festival "Kultur am Dorfplatz" has set itself the goal of creating
acceptance for the preservation and existence of cultural open spaces and
alternative ways of life in the neighborhood through a 9-day series of
events on the one hand, and on the other hand, to strengthen civil society
cohesion through a place of encounter and communication. The festival sees
itself as a plea for an open, solidary togetherness in the neighborhood and
focuses on dialogue instead of confrontation.
