Nate Young (Wolf Eyes), John R. Spykes (Wolf Eyes), Nina
April 2nd | Doors 20:00, Concert 21:00

In experimental electronic sound for over twenty years Nate Young (https://facebook.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=965bfdc5483b693a98a919fdf&id=722de4c8b9&e=b127b6a5ed) founded legendary noise group Wolf Eyes in 1988. The noise architect lingers inside a series of haunted scenes, animated by the surreal sounds of homemade instruments.

John R. Spykes (https://facebook.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=965bfdc5483b693a98a919fdf&id=31e079eee2&e=b127b6a5ed) = Solo homemade gutter creek reeds diving into the sound of the bleak Midwest. Rhythms that amount to defining internal disasters via slow live audio motion. Hundreds of Spykes releases, rarely seen solo.

Golden Pudel Club resident and V I S co-founder Nina (https://facebook.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=965bfdc5483b693a98a919fdf&id=ebad1c9e08&e=b127b6a5ed) crafts a monolithic, hypnotic and physical mix of drone, ambient and modern composition tracks.

Lea Bertucci, Bass Clef
March 9th | Doors 19:30, Concert 20:30

Lea Bertucci (https://facebook.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=965bfdc5483b693a98a919fdf&id=bced7f952c&e=b127b6a5ed) describes relationships between acoustic phenomena and biological resonance. With her horn, she produces pulsing minimalist patterns, transcendent drones, and upper register squalls that envelop these spaces in waves of overtones, microtones, and psychoacoustic effects.

Bass Clef (https://facebook.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=965bfdc5483b693a98a919fdf&id=12968054d9&e=b127b6a5ed) is the primary handle for the marauding musical runnings of Ralph Cumbers, the producer, trombone player, DJ and modular synth manipulator. Whilst calling Hackney, UK his current home, he has long since broken through the earthly atmosphere with his itinerant, style-and-pattern approach to electronic music.

Yeah You, Tropa Macaca
March 21st | Doors 20:00, Concert 21:00

Yeah You (https://facebook.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=965bfdc5483b693a98a919fdf&id=1895eae3e1&e=b127b6a5ed) , father/daughter dada-leaning dyad whose improvised musical and geographical excursions will leave your head spinning like a well rubbered doughnut in a car park. Using compact recording gear to turn the usual banal everyday family drives to into spontaneous recording sessions in the car.

Tropa Macaca (https://facebook.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=965bfdc5483b693a98a919fdf&id=6376cb672f&e=b127b6a5ed) is a project run by André Abel (guitar) and Joana da Conceição (synth & electronics), based in Lisbon and publicly active in the the field of electronic music for a decade. Their compositions are cathartic and deeply poetic pieces, as if looking for unfound places or trying to speak unknown languages.

Lino Capra Vaccina, Screening: Saturnalia 2017
April 24th | Doors 20:00, Concert 21:00

Lino Capra Vaccina (https://facebook.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=965bfdc5483b693a98a919fdf&id=97f620f496&e=b127b6a5ed) is a legendary cult composer and percussionist which created a unique version of American Minimalism. He is the founder member of the early 1970s avant garde ensembles Aktuala and Telaio Magnetico, and was also a key member of Franco Battiato’s band. With gongs, Tuvan throat singing, and stripped down analogue electronica he composed the revolutionary and meditative album Antico Adagio somewhere deep in the 70ties. A rare chance to see him on stage.

Screening: Saturnalia 2017, (IT) 18.18min & DJ Set
Saturnalia is the gathering of an international community whose interest in experimental culture and unusual social interaction has a strong political and spiritual meaning. It happens every June in Milan at Macao (https://facebook.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=965bfdc5483b693a98a919fdf&id=ffc18b5b24&e=b127b6a5ed) , one of the last fortresses of culture-oriented squatting. In 2017 Saturnalia had its biggest instalment featuring a courageous line-up while Macao, under the threat of eviction, was mobilising the entire community to stay alive. This documentary portrays the atmosphere of those days investigating what it means to be underground in current times.

Opening the night is a selection of 70s Italian avant-garde music.
