In *Roberta Busechian* and *Elza Javakhishvili*'s performance, sound and
language are the chosen materials to portray the process of production and
labour in the form of a construction site, delocalised and placed inside
the exhibition space.
How important is it for a neo-liberal society to question the labour
situation in today's art scene, to highlight the invisible work involved
and to discuss what this entails for the working conditions of artists
today?
The concept of this performance is is to use the construction site as a
metaphorical act, pointing out the ongoing process of creation (or
building) involved in a performative installation and letting this fact be
transparent (and apparent) for the audience.

The aesthetics of the construction site are translated through the use of
space in the process of the performance and the embodiment of poetry and
sound. In “SO HAST DU ES VOR”, the position of the installation format in
contemporary art is reflected upon through the relationship between space,
time and audience; as is the labour of the artist, revealing the reality of
the circumstances involved in producing artistic work.
As the meaning of the word --- the construction site --- points out:
to change something,
to redesign,
to elaborate something,
to construct or
to deconstruct,
is also the concern of this multi-media performance, to point out the
establishment of the work process.

In der gemeinsamen Sound- Poesieperformance von *Roberta Busechian* und *Elza
Javakhishvili* wird durch den elektronischen Klang und Sprache der
räumliche Produktionsfaktor dargestellt und der Arbeitsprozess als eine
Form der Baustelle im Ausstellungsraum repräsentiert.
Wie wichtig ist es doch, dass in der neoliberalen Gesellschaft die
Arbeitssituation oder der Vorgang der unsichtbaren Arbeit in der Kunst
aufgezeigt wird und die Umstände der Arbeit (der Künstler*innen) in Frage
gestellt wird.
In der Konzeption dieser Performance wird versucht, die Baustelle als eine
metaphorische Handlung und gleichzeitig das unfertige Bauwerk –
performative Installation – transparent zu veranschaulichen. Dabei kann die
Ästhetik der Baustelle bildhaft zur räumlichen Dimension im Ablauf der
Performance transkribieren. Außerdem wird die Situation der Baustelle von
Performer*innen durch Klang und Poesie ersichtlich verkörpert. Durch “SO
HAST DU ES VOR” wird auch die Position der Installation in der
zeitgenössischen Kunst reflektiert und zwar als die Verbindung zwischen der
Arbeit und der Realität der Künstler*innen, die Beziehung zwischen Raum,
Zeit und Publikum.
Wie die Bedeutung des Wortes – die Baustelle – uns hinweist: etwas zu
verändern, neu zu gestalten, etwas auszuarbeiten, zu konstruieren oder zu
dekonstruieren, ist auch das Anliegen dieser multimedialen Performance die
Errichtung des Arbeitsprozesse offen zu legen.
