Please join us for the opening on Friday, April 5, 2019, 7-10 pm

What may we not have noticed? In this one-night exhibition, 10 traveling artists pause to investigate the pitfalls of nostalgia and the unreliable nature of memory. Sculptures, videos, performance, and works on paper conjure sites and wanderings; the work brings attention to the construction of individual narratives by manipulating documentation, playing with traditional exhibition motifs and using illusionistic materials.

Stories to be shared and then packed away.

Performance by Ali Moraly at 8pm

Ali Moraly is a violinist, composer, teacher and writer based in Berlin, born in Damascus-Syria, where he studied at the Higher Institute of Music. He holds a Master from the University of Music in Karlsruhe-Germany and was commissioned by documenta14 Kassel, the theater of Oldenburg and BACHFEST in Tübingen. He performed in the middle-East, Europe and the United States.
