I agree. It would be great to discuss outcomes and deals for the future.

I see that the reason of the Vorspiel as initiative, is just becoming more and more a mediatic opportunity for everyone of us & especially for Transmediale & CTM to promote themselves and acquire our collective programming / documentation under their umbrella, for the need to show how providing they are for the community of independent project spaces and initiatives working within their field of interests. This increases obviously their chances & capabilities to achieve fundings and attention from any direction.

Im not convinced at all about the quality, genuineness, sustainability and transparency of this initiative anymore…or the need from our side to fall under this Format.

Its maybe true that more people get aware of our existence due the presence on the media but in fact the actual outcome and level of attention doesn’t mirror really this media-effect.

I propose there could be more space within the actual CTM & Transmediale Festival´s Program for contribution by the reSource Network. A rather inclusive approach to contribute to a real encounter between the festival, the audience and the re-Source Network.

I don’t believe in such institutional size anyway - its just a giant machine that has nothing to do any longer with the independent approach and DIY inclusive approach is actually aiming for.

A lot of human and non-Human resources that must fill requests and measurements typical of Institutions.

Fair enough and still respect but not my call especially if there is no effort to re-shape the approach but just contents that are becoming almost demagogy. If we discuss topics such “Face Value” without disrupting it but only illustrating what we are criticising….mmmm…is that to be taken serious?

Such issues has been the issues every year and to be honest no real improvements has been happening.

The re-Source & Vorspiel - did have a great impact and value as it was born and carefully curated by Tatiana Bazzichelli that is now again curating independently.

Still, this newsletter has an incredible value!

So looking forward!
