Liebig12 is pleased to announce *Marianne Tuckman* as artist in Residency
and related ongoing project *"RATs ExperimentationLabs"* happening *each
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am-12am.*
Performers from all disciplines are welcome to come to these sessions where
we take it in turns to share our practise with each other. Drag yourselves,
your friends & lovers out of bed and come groove!

In October, Jair Bolsonaro was elected to be the next president of Brazil.
News of his toxic cocktail of misogynist, trans-phobic, homophobic &
fascist views reached our Berlin nest. We snuggled into each other,
smelling of Sterni and last night cigarette smoke and while hand poking
tattoos onto our feathers we started planning an evening….

Within the residency project of *Marianne* *Tuckman*, we are thrilled to
invite you to Liebig12 for a Brazilian themed evening of stand up comedy,
drag, poetry, political talks, music, delicious food and Caipirinhas.

The event will be dedicated to *Casa de Lagartixa Preta*, a queer house
project in Santo Andre (state of Sao Paulo) that has been running for 14
years. The house offers an anti patriarchal living community to inhabitants
and visitors and they run projects including a garden, a public kitchen
offering home grown cheap & healthy meals, a library, study circles, cinema
nights and direct political activist groups. We will hear individual
stories directly from the collective, finding out how they are feeling
after Bolsono’s election and how they plan to respond.

All money will go to helping them continue their great work.

Em Outubro Jair Bolsonaro foi eleito Presidente do Brasil. As notícias
sobre o seu tóxico cocktail de ideias misóginas, homo- e trans-fóbicas e
fascistas chegaram ao nosso ninho berlinense. Cheirando a Sterni e ao fumo
de cigarro da noite anterior e enquanto tatuávamos as nossas penas,
aconchegámo-nos umas às outras e começámos a planear uma noite…

Estamos entusiasmadxs por vos convidar para o Liebig12, onde decorrerá um
serão dedicado ao Brasil, com stand upcomedy, drag, poesia, conversas,
música, comida deliciosa e Caipirinhas.

O evento será dedicado à *Casa de Lagartixa Preta*, um houseproject queer
em Santo André (São Paulo) que está de pé há 14 anos. A casa proporciona
uma comunidade anti-patriarcal a habitantes e visitantes, gerindo projetos
como um jardim, uma cozinha pública com refeições caseiras, baratas e
saudáveis, uma biblioteca, grupos de estudo, noites de cinema e grupos
politicamente ativos. Ouviremos histórias individuais directamente do
colectivo, tentando perceber como os seus membros se sentem após a eleição
de Bolsonaro e como planeiam agir em reposta.

O lucro será revertido para o colectivo com o objectivo de assegurar a
continuidade do seu admirável trabalho.

In Oktober wurde Jair Bolsonaro zum Präsidenten Brasiliens gewählt.
Nachrichten seines toxischen Cocktails von misogynen, homo- und transphoben
und faschistischen Einstellungen haben unseren berlinischen Nest erreicht.
Wir kuschelten mit dem Geruch nach Sterni und Zigarettenrauch eines vorigen
Abends und während wir unsere Feder tätowierten, haben wir angefangen,
einen Abend vorzubereiten…

Wir freuen uns, euch zu Liebig12 einzuladen, wo ein Abend über Brasilien
stattfinden wird. Es wird stand up comedy, drag, Poesie, politische
Diskussionen, Musik, leckeres Essen und Caipirinhas geben.

Die Veranstaltung wird der *Casa de Lagartixa Preta* gewidmet, ein queeres
Hausprojekt in Santo André (São Paulo), das seit 14 Jahren existiert. Das
Haus bietet eine anti-patriarchalische Gemeinschaft für Bewohner_Innen und
Besucher_Innen an und verwaltet Projekten wie ein Garten, eine öffentliche
Küche mit hausgemachten, günstigen und gesunden Mahlzeiten, eine
Bibliothek, Lernkreisen, Filmabende und politisch aktive Gruppen. Wir
werden die individuelle Geschichten direkt vom Kollektiv hören und
verstehen wie sich seine Mitglieder_Innen nach der Wahl Bolsonaros fühlen
und wie sie vorhaben, darauf zu reagieren.

Das Profitgeld wird der Casa de LagartixaPreta für die Fortsetzung ihrer
tollen Arbeit gegeben.

studying a M.Phil in creative writing at Swansea University, UK. Her
research focusses on the relationship between poetry and live performance,
exploring physical states that support the communication of the spoken
word.
