aim to provide a time and place for self directed and collaborative
learning + experimentation. If you would like to free yourself from the
limitations that come with traditional music software, this is for you! We
occasionaly do jam sessions and plan group performances.

*PERFORMANCES*
*AudeRrose - rouge sang*
"Rouge sang" is a metaphoric tale immersing the viewer in a dreamy shadow
performance, combining analogue projection and sounds. The visual landscape
is exploring a series of red objects projected into light with overhead and
slide projectors. The space is filled with red moving shadow diffracting a
collection of light objects, paper cuts, organic slides, composed as a
visual collage evolving inside a space bubble.

*Mariusz Knysak, Maciej Ożóg – Ephemeral Interferences*
“Ephemeral Interferences” is the audiovisual performance wherein close
interactions between improvised sounds and moving images trigger deep
immersive experience of optical sound and sonified vision. Sounds and
images interrelations develop in a never-ending, dynamic feedback loop in
which intentional human manipulation of audio and visual components is
being clashed with indetermined impulses generated by the audio-visual
analogue-digital machinery itself.

Presents Dronescape by Australian composer, multi-instrumentalist,
improviser and sound designer Trevor Brown

Dronescape is a microtonal durational live drone performance using a wide
array of brass and wind instruments including baritone, alto, soprano
saxes, bass, treble clarinets alto, treble flutes and laptop.

Sunday 1 Oct: Ragnhild May & Stefan Maier / Kink Gong #364

*Maier and May *will perform a composition for self-made microtonal organs,
modular synthesizer and spatialized loudspeakers. Drawing on the lineage of
Maryanne Amacher’s Sound Joined Rooms and Iannis Xenakis’ Polytopes — that
of architectural composition — Maier and May prioritize space as the
primary parameter of their collaborative compositional work. This spatial
interplay is paralleled by an investigation of various psychoacoustic
phenomena, which evoke various perceptual spaces both in the ear (as in
Otoacoustic emission) and the brain (binaural beating). Maier will also
perform a solo improv set on modular synthesizer.

*Kink Gong*s performance quadriphonic zomia is trying to transform original
recordings of zomian people into an experimental soundscape

*SPEKTRUM* is a project space in Neukölln for idealisation, realisation and
exhibition of technology-based artworks, media-focused events and
futuristic utopias based on the principle "do-it-together-with-others". Above
all, we are an open space promoting participatory processes to co-define
and co-design a social and physical playground for curiosity and critical
understanding.
