- a place for researching ways to digitize motion and the human body and to
make the data accessible for further use in VR, gaming, stage performance
or art. We are building sensors, writing code and explore new ways of
moving.

At our community meetings we get together and experiment. Some of us may be
trained professionals others are completely new to the field. You do not
need to know or have anything to join us, apart from respect for the people
around you. We embrace diversity in thoughts, bodies and looks! We take the
unknown and unfamiliar as inspiration and as a challenge to rethink
ourselves.

With the use of extended techniques, preparations, harmonics and
multiphonics the duo of Johan Moir & Guilherme Rodrigues dives into a
myriad of sound exploration. By letting small sounds and minimalistic
movements be central in the music, they dwell in soundscapes where the
cello and double bass can intwine, merging as one entity, creating a
singular new identity.

Vibraphone  Casey Moir - Voice  Lena Czerniawska - Live Drawings *
A journey is undertaken as smooth rolling dissonance and soundscapes that
overlap, intersect, traverse and unite meet with instinctive brush strokes
as they dissect the white light with the ink of a pen, smelting together
the ear with the eye. What is seen, what is heard, what is felt is a story
told that will linger awhile on the skin and gently arouse the intrigue of
ones senses.

*William "Bilwa" Costa - solo  performing "counting cycle: accumulation" *
Recordings of voices counting in different spaces, with various acoustic
sound qualities, cycle in and out of phase creating an expanding and
contracting soundscape.
"statements: “text and voice”
A composition consisting of recordings of texts written and read by three
contemporary Japanese artists, Yukari Misawa, Yuka Takahashi, and Mayumi
Arai. Each artist describes, in Japanese, their theories, insights, and
artistic approaches to the topic “media”.


*Sam Hertz - solo  performing "masswasting" *
intersections of psychoacoustics and expanded listening practices
concerning affective crossings between humans and environment, ecological
soundings, geophysical/atmospheric infrasonic.

Lights and Sound controlled by Control Voltage signals from a Modular System

*Duanger + Vibert Thio - Étude*
We use rehabilitation data, transform it into music note. Compose it and
perform with self-made instruments, with interactive light setting. We set
as a goal to bring back the victims of this incident their colorful youth
and future through the expression of music, art, and technology. The goal
of the process was to change the way rehabilitation feels for them. Since
all of them were just starting to figure out their future, the
rehabilitation process was very painful emotionally. The addition of the
music and creativity content in their rehabilitation aimed to bring a more
positive atmosphere to them. The whole process was recorded so it could be
repeated for the society.

Chile. His major focus is on experimental, free jazz & contemporary sound.

EXHIBITION #12: KLANG RAUM SKULPTUR *22-23-24 September 2017 at SPEKTRUM*

*CONCEPT OF THE AMBISONICS DOME*
The collaborative project Klang-Raum-Skulptur is a dome-shaped sound
installation that utilizes an immersive 3-dimensional sound system,
premiered at SPEKTRUM Berlin at the 22nd of September as part of the
festival "Monat der zeitgenössischen Musik". The installation was
originated by Paul Deme who developed the initial spatial concept.
Attracted by the sculpture’s ideal form for the use of Ambisonics
spatialization, Sven König (sCrAmBled?HaCkZ!), joined the project and
installed the Ambisonics system inside the dome.

The composers *Frank Bretschneider*, *Marisol Jimenez* and *Julius
Holtz *employ
this technique to create 3-dimensional sound pieces. The resulting entity
explores the relationship between musical composition, space and immersive
listening. Performances are planned by Frank Bretschneider, *Richard Scott*,
Julius Holtz and more artists to be announced.

*SPEKTRUM* is a project space in Neukölln for idealisation, realisation and
exhibition of technology-based artworks, media-focused events and
futuristic utopias based on the principle "do-it-together-with-others". Above
all, we are an open space promoting participatory processes to co-define
and co-design a social and physical playground for curiosity and critical
understanding.
