*WORKSHOP ON VOCAL EXPANSION *with *Barbara Lazara *

Tropical strategies to rediscover, diversify and reconnect our voice as
corporeal resonance/affective eloquence with Barbara Lazara.

Participants will go through a series of exercises and techniques to follow
the resonating journeys of the bodies, allow the air expand the territories
of vibration, deep voice, sonic imagery, flow and freedom.

The last day of the workshop will lead to a final collective performance at
Liebig12.

Within the frame of Barbara Lazara´s workshop on vocal expansion techinques
(11 – 15.05.2017), the vocal Ensamble Medulla (Ulrike Sowodniok, Jagna
Anderson, Dodi Helschinger, Lea Søvsø, Anna Katharina Weißenfels) will
present a small improvisation and dialogue with Barbara Lazara who will be
talking about Mexico’s diverse scene of vocal experimental projects as well
as about her own triggers and motivations to approach to the vocal material
in her particular way.
