Wed 22 Feb: PAP Public Exchange: Digitization Triple I: Artistic SPACE

Start time:19:30 - Free entrance

Within the framework of the *Digitization Triple of the Performing Arts
Program Berlin (PAP),* three artists or groups of artists had the
opportunity to a question burning within their respective artistic soul on
the topic of art and digital space together with an expert from the world
of programming and science.

The selected artists all had very different questions. The theater
collective *zweitereihe* sought to create a virtual character and fill it
with life, as well as to work with its interactions. The group
*virtuellestheater* worked to create a virtual space/interface which made
it possible to collaborate on a project together with partners in different
geographic locations around the world and make this work available for an
audience not physically there in a format not using livestreaming,
chatrooms or video recordings. The scenographer *Oliver Proske* attempted
to develop a system in which a camera automatically follows a performer.

The results will now be presented within the framework of a public
exchange.

B'', the relation of A which is position in Space of B is indicated. B
indicates the place of A's existence. Various movements of dance create
characteristics and expressions. The sound changes the space and your
feelings. Performers intended to shrink the sense of distance between
movement & sound to a closer situation.

a recently formed duo, consisting of ambient producer Jonas Meyer (aka
Holographic Field) and electronic sound maker Henrik José, both based in
Berlin. Together they perform live electronics, swaying between dark
microtonal drones and melodic ambient. The sounds are a mixture of field
recordings, live granular sampling, minimalist rhythms and piano.

*Emiddio Vasquez - diagrammatics*
A series of a/v performances on a hybrid system that reflect upon Deleuze's
problematization of the digital.

*Spells Disaster (aka Juan Duarte Regino) - Æssemblage*
An audiovisual exploration of feedback networks: interface and outcome,
physical and ethereal manipulations. Based on the Assemblage Theory, the
performance transposes hybrid artefacts to explore and affect embodied
exteriority with sound and light.

SKREI is an Noise/Drone project of Giuseppe Capriglione. The loop tape is
the only live sound element. Processing and working with multitracker tape
recorder are creating a Noise/Drone Sounds.

*SPEKTRUM* is a project space in Neukölln for idealisation, realisation and
exhibition of technology-based artworks, media-focused events and
futuristic utopias based on the principle "do-it-together-with-others". Above
all, we are an open space promoting participatory processes to co-define
and co-design a social and physical playground for curiosity and critical
understanding.
