Saturday 2 April:Sound Anatomy II: Richard Scott & Kazuhisa Uchihasi +
Peter Cusack #131
Doors: 19:30 / Start time: 20:00

*Sound Anatomy presents:*

*Solo performance by Peter Cusack* - a field recordist and sound artist
with a long interest in the sound environment. In 1998 he started the
Favourite Sounds Project that explores what people find positive about the
soundscapes of the cities - London, Beijing, Chicago, Prague, Birmingham
and Berlin. His project Sounds From Dangerous Places (described as sonic
journalism) investigates soundscapes at sites of major environmental damage
including the Chernobyl exclusion zone, the Caspian Oil Fields, and,
currently, the Aral Sea. During 2011/12 he was a DAAD artist-in-residence
in Berlin and initiated the Berlin Sonic Places project to consider the
relationship between soundscape and urban development.

*Duo performance by Richard Scott and Kazuhisa Uchihasi*, bringing together
two of Berlin's most expressive improvising composers, who worked together
intensively in 2015 discovering a vivid, powerful performance in which many
genres of sound and noise seem to effortlessly coexist. This will be their
first sonic encounter of 2016.

Followed by open end bar with JD Zazie

*Exhibition #5: LACUNA LAB: ACTIVATION 22-23-24 April 2016*

For three days, Spektrum is overgrown by* Lacuna Lab*, a Berlin-centred
collective of trans-disciplinary artists. For the collective's inaugural
exhibition,
spores of ideas waft across the canal from their studio on Paul-Lincke-Ufer,
taking root as a multi-channel network of biology- and technology-based
pieces.

is a collaborative co-creation space in Berlin Kreuzberg.
They mix logic and beauty to create interactive works, driven by
imagination, playfulness, and experimentation. They love partnering with
others on projects
and collaborations, and sharing what they learn through
public exhibitions, classes, and workshops.

*SPEKTRUM* is a project space in Neukölln for idealisation, realisation and
exhibition of technology-based artworks, media-focused events and
futuristic utopias based on the principle
"do-it-together-with-others". Above all, we are an open space promoting
participatory processes to co-define and co-design a social and physical
playground for curiosity and critical understanding.
