Hallo,

ich möchte Euch herzlich zu „Die Ermittler“, eine partizipative Projektion auf das Goethe-Schiller Denkmal am 26.-28. August 2016, nach Weimar auf den Theaterplatz einladen. Zusammen mit Projektionskunstpionier und Professor an der Harvard Universität Krzysztof Wodiczko entstand in Koproduktion mit der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, dem Kunstfest Weimar und der ZwischenWerk gUG aus Berlin während des Sommersemesters 2016 ein interaktiver Dialog zwischen geflüchteten Menschen und Bürger*innen für den öffentlichen Raum. Die beteiligten Fachbereiche dieses interdisziplinäres Gesamtkunstwerk – Mensch-Computer-Interaktion, MediaArchitecture, Visuelle Kommunikation, Produkt Design und Freie Kunst – ermitteln die Möglichkeiten der „Speakers Corner“, also wie öffentliche Plätze mit Hilfe medialer und interaktiver Installationen Dialogen zwischen Fremden provozieren können. Mit diesem politisch motivierten Projekt möchten wir, durch gemeinsamen Meinungsaustausch, Ängste vor dem Fremden abbauen helfen.

Wir möchten herzlich unseren Partnern, dem Kunstfest Weimar, der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, dem Kreativfonds der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Lotus Lumina, Fisch&Fischer, Synchronice und Derivative Touch Designer, für ihre Unterstützung danken ohne deren unermüdlichen Einsatz dieses Projekt nicht realisierbar gewesen wäre.

Hello,

I would like to invite you to „The Investigators“, a participatory projection onto the Goethe-Schiller monument at Theaterplatz Weimar on August 2016, 26 - 28. Together with the projectionart-pionier and professor at Harvard University (US) Krzysztof Wodiczko an interactive dialogue for public place between newcomers and citizens was developed during the summer semester 2016 in coproduction with Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Kunstfest Weimar, and the Berlin based ZwischenWerk gUG. The participating disciplines Human-Computer Interaction, MediaArchitecture, Visual Communication, Product Design, Fine Arts were investigating the possibilities of the „Speakers Corner“ or how to provoke dialogue between strangers supported by interactive media installations in public space. With this politically motivated project we intend to reduce the fear of the foreign through exchange of opinions. 

We would like to thank our partners Kunstfest Weimar, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Kreativfond der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Lotus Lumina, Fisch&Fischer, Synchronice, and Derivative Touch Designer for their support, without we would not have realized this project.
