I am sharing with you a quick update about Liebig12´s schedule & happenings
planned so far:


*04.2015 / 08.2015*

Multimedia artists & critical writers based in Gothenburg, Sweden, *Frida
Sandstrom** Helena Olsson & Ingrid Klintskog*are the upcoming artists in
residency at Liebig12.

Open studios and public events To be announced.


*Frida Sandström* artist and writer, critic, situated in the
interdisciplinary field where practice and theory coexist. Member of the
artistic platform Skogen, the performance collective Mold and of the
litterature festival Textival, all in Gothenburg. Also contributes for
Kunstkritikk, Borås tidning, Feministiskt perspektiv, ETC, Fria tidningar.

*Helena Olsson* is a Swedish artist that with performance, video and
reenactments investigates norms, social strucures, power and gender. Helena
Olsson has been shown at KHM Gallery, Malmö, Regnbågsfestival in Malmö and
Galleri Maskinen Art Boat in Umeå. She completed her MFA at the Malmö Art
Academy in 2014 and is currently working with Kajsa Dahlberg through
konstnärsnämdens assistant grant.

*Ingrid Klintskog *based in Malmö, Sweden focuses her practice on drawing
and painting.

which *do not* involve a sense of vision.

*Sounding the Alarm: Theories of the Anti-Sight I *

challenges the dominance of the visual sense and its ability to objectify
knowledge.

Performance artists, conceptual social workers, and performance-based
spiritualists and scientists attempt to break through the sound barrier of
cultural imperialism, violence, and hegemony. Doubting the fundamental
conception that “seeing is believing” within a reality where forms of sight
and what is seen are dominated by capitalist agendas, we develop sonic,
sensual, and social interactions, disruptions, resistances, and
reifications.
