networking event organised by the Nordic Embassies in Berlin and the 
curator Solvej Helweg Ovesen, please distribute! The deadline is on the

INVITATION: GROSSES TREFFEN OPEN CALL DEADLINE 20 MARCH 2013

Open Call Portfolio Review for Nordic artists wishing to meet curators 
from the Berlin art scene Grosses Treffen is a one day network event 
that offers the opportunity for Finnish, Swedish, Icelandic, Norwegian, 
Greenlandic, Faroese and Danish artists (e. g. performers, sound art 
producers, or creative illustrators, designers and architects who work 
in the field of contemporary art) to do portfolio review meetings and 
get acquainted with key agents of Berlin’s art scene according to their 
specific interests.

The Nordic Embassies will host the event where around 80 artists will be 
given the chance to meet a number of prominent Berlin-based curators, 
residency organizers, designers, distributors, publishers and exhibition 
directors. A jury consisting of experienced and acclaimed curators – 
Carson Chan, Kristoffer Gansing and Solvej Helweg Ovesen – will select 
the participating artists based on their submitted portfolios.
