Interactive Audiovisual Performance using Bio-data<br>
SKIN is an interactive performance, in which the artist interacts with sounds and images using the GSR (Galvanic Skin Response) interface, which measures her skin's moisture in order to create the audiovisual environment. The variations of these values are an indication of psychological or physiological arousal, such as for example appearance of stress or relaxation. SKIN is a reflection about metamorphosis, in this case, inspired by the natural moulting process of skin change. The visual environment is created by microscopic images from the performer's skin recorded in real-time and the sound environment is transformed by the performer’s emotional state measured through her skin's moisture values.<br>

Dynamic audiovisual system with circle-like processes and with the quality to develop and steer by itself. Hitmachine is a work in progress. Every other performance lets arise a new form connection. The setting possibilities are varied and permit a variety of playable performance variations. </p>

With the emergence of ever new technologies which increasingly digitize human bodies and movements in space, such as biosensors, VR and the internet of things, we investigate how we sense the world around us, how technology extends and aestheticizes our sensing and in which way our sensing and the generated data is represented and used. What’s more, we question how our movement is considerably influenced by emerging technologies and related processes and procedures<br>
and how the human body trained in one way or another can contribute to or even shape the development of new technologies.<br>
<br>
reSense.MOV is a festival that will debate current questions of the intersections of motion, sensing, performance and technologies in art and sciences curated by Byrke Lou and Marcello Lussana in collaboration with SPEKTRUM.</span></p>
<span style="color:#000000">The festival will take place at SPEKTRUM on 25-31st of July, where it will fuse with the MovLab community based at SPEKTRUM. Throughout the week there will be workshops and performances, with a conference taking place on the last day of the festival, Sunday 31st of July.</span><br>
