<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:rgb(68,68,68);font-family:'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;line-height:22px">After completing his residency with<a href="http://www.berliner-kuenstlerprogramm.de/en/gast.php?id=1254" style="text-decoration:none"> DAAD Artists-in-Berlin</a> in July 2014, <em style="font-style:italic"><strong style="font-weight:bold"><a href="http://korabiewski.com/" style="text-decoration:none">Konrad Korabiewski</a> </strong></em>joins together with Canadian sound and radio artist <em style="font-style:italic"><strong style="font-weight:bold"><a href="http://nicelittlestatic.com/" style="text-decoration:none">Anna Friz</a></strong></em> as artists/curators in residence at<em style="font-style:italic"><a href="http://www.liebig12.net/konrad-korabiewski-artist-curator-in-residency/" style="text-decoration:none"> Liebig 12</a></em> from 30.07 – 30.09.2014.</span><br>

The duo will each be developing a new sound-based installation work, as well as featuring other artist duos for several evenings of performance and process during the residency.</p><p style="text-align:center;margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-left:0px">
 </p><div><p style="text-align:center;margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-left:0px"><em style="font-style:italic"><strong style="font-weight:bold">Anna Friz</strong></em> is a Canadian sound and radio artist, and media studies scholar. </p>
<p style="text-align:center;margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-left:0px">She has performed and exhibited widely across North America, South America, and Europe, and her radio art/works have been commissioned by national public radio in Canada, Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, and Mexico. She held a post-doctoral fellowship in the Sound Department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2011-2013). In the past year she has been artist in residence at Skaftfell Center for Visual Art in Seydisfjördur, Iceland, at radioCONA in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and at Laznia Centre for Contemporary Art in Gdansk, Poland. Anna is a Wave Farm/ free103point9 transmission artist.</p>
