As many of you know, after transmediale 2012 in/compatible I started investigating the perception of various cultural producers, artists and curators on the newborn reSource project, and the transmediale festival in general.<br>
<br>
The aim was to document considerations and thoughts of people active within the cultural producer scene of Berlin, and the implications of their activity in terms of culture politics and networking models.<br>
I conducted ten interviews (named reSource Chats) - following a "montage method" bringing together projects that cover a wide range of practices: from radio stations to exhibition spaces, from music venues to queer parties, from independent cinema projects to open source cultural spaces.<br>

The people interviewed were: Christian de Lutz (Art Laboratory Berlin), Florian Wuest (Haben und Brauchen), Gregor Hotz (Ausland), Diana McCarty/Pit Schultz (Reboot.fm), Dr. Podinski (Citizen Kino), Ela Kagel (SUPERMARKT), John McKiernan, Kai Kreuzmüller and Daniel Franke (LEAP), Francesco Warbear Macarone Palmieri (Gegen), Erika Siekstelyte (Panke e.V.), Allegra Solitude (Liebig12).<br>

Online you find the full version of the interviews, and offline - in the new transmediale magazine presented today at reSource 006 - a creative montage of them, combined in three imaginative chats.<br>
<br>
Today, at 16.00 at Kunstraum Kreuzberg /Bethanien, we are going to share this project with the public, and to discuss on the Berlin independent scene of cultural production with some of the people mentioned above. The debate is anticipated by a screening of the short movie "Art Accounts Deutsche Bank" by Carsten Lisecki, and followed by the presentation of the new functional Android Mobile Phone application of the reSource network by John Wild.<br>
<br>
After a recruitment for the new Telekommunisten project "Number Station", we will conclude with a small party to launch the new transmediale magazine, available at the venue.<br>

We centered the meetings on developing some questions related to the festival themes because we wanted to start discussing on contents, and from those, develop some common questions that would interested everyone - and be an input to develop a networking synergy of events for the upcoming Vorspiel.<br>
<br>
Of course we really hope people will go beyond the festivals in such occasion, and also in the next meeting we will have in October at Podewil (please, read the post linked above for details). But of course the propositions of events and synergies is up to all the spaces involved, the festival will work mainly as a connector and a visibility platform - but the ideas for the events are freely up to all of you.<br>

I think we have tried to solve the gap by producing the reSouce chats/interviews, and by providing context of discussions related to such issues in all the events of the reSource for almost two years now.<br>
Today the discussion at Bethanien is mainly centered on such issues, not just on the condition of being hybrid and trans-genre, so I hope that we will have a nice sharing an atmosphere by discussing on this. And I really hope that the chats will help in highlighting important problematic, which have been at the core of our reSource network discussions during our monthly meetings.<br>

However, I also believe that more than this can be done - and should be done!<br>
But it should be a common effort, going beyond the dichotomy festival / independent scene, otherwise my feeling is that we are stating over and over in the process, and all the effort the reSource is doing is not really taken as common advantage.<br>
I hope it is clear we are all together in such condition of cultural precarity and we are all struggling in finding new answers and occasions to collectively empower what we do.<br>
To build up a network that works is a slow process, and hopefully the results will come in the future - for me they are already coming, otherwise we would not be discussing together in this list and meet often :)<br>

part of the organization team of INTERNET&TACOS, a student-run project space
focusing on user culture, contemporary digital aesthetics and political
strategies for the Internet. As of 9th November 2013 a three-week program is
going to be realized in Hildesheim in cooperation with the University of
Hildesheim. The programme is ranged between artistic, scientific and political
practices and consists of different formats like workshops, lectures,
discussions and an exhibition of artistic works and projects, taking place from
23rd November to 30th November. </font></span></span></div>
<div><span><span lang="DE"><font face="Arial">We are
studying<span> </span>Cultural Studies and/or Scenic
Arts at the University of Hildesheim, and are organising the programme mainly
because we want to work on our lack of knowledge about net-related issues,
